The new content update is now live!
This update features a new love interest – Magdalena and corresponding content (story, sex scenes, locations, gallery entries, extras, etc.). On top of that, 4 new achievements have been added and “Torn Apart” achievement replaced with “Keen Reader” achievement as it no longer made sense after expanding the story content (this means if you already had “Torn Apart” unlocked, “Keen Reader” will unlock automatically.
Other than that, we’ll added many additional bugfixes and quality of life improvements (such as rearranging the Story Gallery in order of unlocking).
As this is a major update, some new bugs may appear. Please report them to us as soon as you can.
We’ll update the game on external stores (Affect3D, Nutaku etc.) as soon as we are sure no major issues exist.
Note 1: older save files are not compatible with this version.
Note 2: Game Guide hasn’t been updated yet, but will be updated very soon.

most excellent update. Re-reading the roadmap I await with anticipation further updates and expansions to this great game and story. Knocking it out of the ball park here guys. I really think you’ve found your forte in this genre. 🙂

Hello, great update. I love Magdalena. I finished the whole game but the achievements and gallery related to the new update didn’t unlock…but steam achievements did. Is this a bug or is it a problem at my end?

Yes, it is strange that the achievements didn’t unlock for you. If they unlocked on Steam, it means that the command was executed correctly, but the local file wasn’t updated. Most likely something on your PC prevented the game from accessing your hard drive and writing the “bc.x” file into it. Do you use some antivirus software by any chance?

I’m using Microsoft Defender. This only happened with this update. All other achievements and galleries before this unlocked correctly. Same happened on my second playthrough.

Can you send us your save files to support@digitalseductions.com? If you have multiple saves, tell us which save we should load.
Saves are located at: C:\Users\*username\AppData\Local\DigitalSeductions\Countess in Crimson\Savegames
I assumed you started a new game each time and didn’t load an older save, right?
